have you got a HD box or is it standard SD and are you using a HDMI cable for the connection?

cables --> Search results for hdmi cable in Cables & Connectors (http://shop.ebay.co.uk/items/Consumer-Electronics_Cables-Connectors__hdmi-cable_W0QQ_nkwZhdmiQ20cableQQQ5ftrkparmsZ72Q253A12 Q257C39Q253A1Q257C65Q253A12QQQ5ftrksidZp3286Q2ec0Q 2em14QQ_frdlpwlZ1QQ_fxdZ1QQ_sopZ2QQ_ssovZ1)

If you have a normal v box get some good scart leads it will make a difference,if you have the v+ box i got my hdmi leads from wilco ?15 if i remember rightly. The difference being with the hdmi leads you do not have to spend loads on them. There was a test done on the tv a while back on hdmi leads of different prices and the result was they were more or less all the same. But with scarts its different you can pay stupid prices for them but you dont need to hope this helps

My advice to you then mate is to upgrade your scarts but dont spend silly ammounts on them, some people pay lots of money for scarts, hdmi cables ect because they think it costs more so it should be better. That is not always the case so have a look round,i have a thor scart on the back of my plasma and its great i think it cost me about ?25 lets us no how you get on all the best

To get good hd you dont need vm (dont start me on that :banghead:) they have only one part time channel bbc one hd as for any more we will have to wait and see:sh:but i must admit it dose a brill job at upscaling the sd pic

Make sure you select RGB in the video/audio setup menu on your virgin box to get the best picture.
Don't rush out and buy expensive scarts they will ony make a difference if you are running long leads like over 2m which most of us dont.

Yeah I noticed the RGB mode made it a little sharper.
