Every time I download a prog or a video and it is zipped using winrar, I try t oextract it but always find the error ' header corrupt' and cannot use the file, I find it hard to believe that ALL files I now download would be corrupt as until last month my old PC had no probs with them, can anyone help me out here????:please:

Start by reinstalling winrar.

Either on top of your current installation (a repair install, like shipoftheline said), or uninstall then reinstall with the latest version.

However, just done a google search and it suggests that it is the files at fault and not winrar. Apparently if the file has been split, a corruption of any of the .00# files would return an error for the whole rar, as winrar sees them as one archive.
