My yougest has a yellow psp and it has gone dead, green light is on all the time when battery is put in or when connected to the charger.

Nothing else happens, pressing any button does nothing, on/off does nothing, just a green light with a dead display. It has not been modded or anything else done to it.

Any ideas please? I know nothing about psp.

It now transpires that a drink was spilt on it :-(

Oh well, out with a hair dryer but I think it is well bricked.

claim it of the house insurance depending on how much your access is! if its high then it wouldnt be worth your while! if you are going to try and dry it, take of the front face plate and hit it with the hair dryer!

Just for a change I was lucky!

Took it apart, found a little "half moon" pcb with the on/off switch and a smt led, gave it a clean as it was pretty coroded, put it back together and it works!

The LED doesn't work but it takes a charge and boots fine now!
