I Have A Hitachi 50vs69a Lcd Rear Projection Tv. It Has This Av Plug On The Back. Not Sure What Its For. Could Someone Clarify If Its Possible To Use It For A Pc?

Are you sure its a 9pin rs232 socket or is it a vga input for pc. My guess its a vga input for pc, so that you can use it as a monitor connected to a pc/laptop.

i think its like the other earlier hit stuff, its another av connector not an rs232
like the old ega connection on early monitors, hit vcr's in business market have them too.

what does its label say it for? got the manual around?
