can some 1 tell me if you put sugar in the apple juice at the start some 1 said better putting small drop in the bottles and leave for a month

putting sugar in the bottle causes wot they call secondry fermantation it also allows the product to have a head when opened so be careful when doing so as you will disturb sediment at the bottom of the bottle also if you put too much in could explode like champagne and its ruined so just be careful

thnx for reply but i think it got 2 cold and stoped fermenting need to try again :)

you use yeast in the first process to eat away at the sugar which in turn makes the liquid alcoholic,i prefer to use pure apple juice when doing cider and sugar when its beer :)
