Is this any good for play games on? do you get good pings (no loss, choke, etc)?
Sounds good but probably too good to be true.

A friend signed up for this and has to use his laptop by an upstairs window to get any signal at all! I would recommend anyone considering this as their main connection should find a freind with a "3" phone first and ask them to walk about the house to check signal strengths before signing on the dotted line.

best thing to do is to go with the pay as u go modem with 3 and ya just top it up like a mobile phone if any1 is lookin a link for the modem its To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. which u dont have to sign a contract with
i'm currently signed up to the ?5/month broadband with three which is supposed to be only used on the mobile but it seems u can get away with a small amount of usage via the laptop as well using bluetooth. I'm considering upping it to the ?10/month so I can use it on the laptop without worrying (as they charge about ?1/MB). Especially since i'll be on the move a lot more.
The signal is decent enough tbh (NW Sheffield), I suppose its only really considerable if you're in a major city with a decent signal throughout. I've been with three for about 3 years now, they have their problems, but they work for the most part.
