I'm after a Digi TV Card that'll allow MHEG dumps and is all singin' all dancin'

I'm guessing that a few of you out there have such hardware, so I'm after a wee report on what you have and if it's any good and how much it cost....... (not that I'm tight or anything ;) )

Cheers folks...

What your looking for is BDA drivers so you can use third party software to get the MHEG dumps

So what your saying is that most card'll do the business if there are compatible BDA drivers to generate/access the MHEG dump??

Yea, the card will pick up the channels ok, but it's down to s/w for mheg stuff. There seems to be many ways to store that info... I use 'dcdvbsource' and Zoom Player for this.
Happy to help if needed.

I have tried a few cards avermedia twin Hauppage nova and found that all my recordings are very "soft" not crisp like DVD.
