I just did it tonight. I have my wireless router next to my dbox. I just plugged it in and when to test network settings and it was on my network. You can do it with a game adaptor too. My mate showed me the other night and I was amazed how easy it was. Try it.

I'm the mate the guy above posted about, here is a quick guide.

If you get a linksys wrt54g router i can give you it in detail as thats the one i have. They are pretty expensive but regarded as one of the best.

My current setup is wireless router (WRT54G) hardwired into my PC and then connected wirelessly to both my laptop (built in wireless) and my dbox/xbox via a Netgear Game adapter.

The game adapter is the biggest pain in the arse as they don't set up very easily so the best way to set up your network is to take note of their IP address. Mine was 192.168.0.54 or something like that. The bit you need to concentrate on is the 192.168.0 bit, the rest doesn't matter (its kind of like a prefix)

Now, if you want it working flawlessly its better to use static IP's so here is how i would recommend setting it up

Router IP - 192.168.0.1
Computer IP - 192.168.0.102
Laptop IP - 192.168.0.101
Dbox IP - 192.168.0.100

Of course this is all dependant on the game adapters IP (for ease) if the game adapter was say 192.168.1.50 then the other IP's should start with 192.168.1.

The subnet mask for everything is 255.255.255.0 and the default gateway is either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 (depending on game adapter). Last but not least the DNS server for everything is also the same addy as the default gateway so either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1, your router will sort out the DNS server for you automatically.

As long as you know how to sort out and change all of the above you are sorted. If not its a LONG guide.
