Hi
Has anyone used an LED Simm to get the BK?
Just ordered one to try.

It works fine, I hope you ordered the "plug and play" type, as this will save you from having to do modifications the board.

Note that the led simm is only compatible with 1000, 1000 phase 1b, 1010t phase 1b and the 4001 models.

Plug & Play?
The one I ordered looks like a memory module and it has a two way switch for each half of the BK and thats all i know.
Ho do i Know if it's plus and play?

its a plug and play mate .you sometimes have problems reading the second part of the bk with them though

Is this to do with the revisions of the decoders - Firmwares ect?

I've a 4001 here, have had ait a number of months, and I'm finally gonna bite the bullet and buy a plug n play led simm as well. £20 well spent, I suppose.

I got the one from chartman and it works wonders truly plug and play.. got it posted out very quick as well.
