if not use dream up. power dower ur box , connect the serial cable and network cable.

power up the box click the connect button. you will see the box connect, wait till its finised loading the boot loader.

then click flash, browse to the image of choice , select it , then watch it load to the box.

disconnect dreamup when it says finished, reboot the box

Renny,

Am flashing with DreamUp.

The box is recognised - ok.
Uploads the flashloader - ok.
Says its in serial HTTP mode...

Then when I try to flash using the Flash button and choose the PLI helenite image, DreamUp gives me a message "Cannot wait for event if event thread is created" and gets stuck at "Calculating Checksum" (both red & green lights are on)!!

Tried rebooting box & doing this all over again... no luck.

Any ideas? Or should I go Mr Dude's route?

Looks like it was indeed a dodgy download... :sweating:

Set the IP on the box & tried Telnet-ing to it... but it just wouldn't recognise the IP ! The box would always boot up with both red-green lights on.

Finally tried DreamUp & am flashing Noob. Wanted to flash PLI though :(. The noob image was a definite good download (its on my other box as well). Anyway, will try corrupting the boot after this is finished and then load PLI-H.

Will keep you posted... cheers guys.

19 min to go... but at least its flashing ;p.
