you need to keep trying to get into the eng menu using the up and down channel buttons
you will get in sooner or later some are a pain
then you will find that your net id is not correct
set that and you will be okay

hi m8 i have had them like that been ready to throw them through the window
you will get in in the end
hold down the two buttons (up-down)before you plug power in and keep hold it will go sooner or later
thats your prob your net id is not set
only other way is to set it with a funcard method

make sure the box is connected directly to the live feed (no splitters etc) then allow the box to update (may take a while) then you should be able to get into eng menu

Er11_ Unable to Tune to Home Frequency which is usually a netid problem.

did you programme the card yourself and are you sure the image is the correct one for your area (TW)

the box came from a ntl area and no i have not programmed it yet. but this shouldn't affect the engineers menu should it???

You are writing the exteeprom first then the flash and the inteeprom last 65535 means the flash has erased the inteeprom.
You could try using this one instead.

rite i programmed the fun card put the EM on page with 09999 as net id put the fun card in the box started to count numbers up then some writing came up then good came up this is all on the box then the box rebooted nit then er11 came up for about 10 seconds thne box went blank then the top light came on then the middle one started to flash. i left the box on thinking it was still updating for about 10 mins then realized nothing was happening so i rebooted and went to engineers menu and the net id changed to the one i wanted it to change to. but when insert the atmega card the money is showing as ?5150.45 or summink and the rom is 10 and the ippv status is showing N/A and when i reboot nit then err11 comes up for about 10 secs then top light comes on then the middle flashing what have i done wrong?

Atleast the netid is right now, plug feed from wall straight to the box no splitters and do a AUfun see if you get fta(bbc1) if
yes put it on slysports and wait 5 mins if a error popup appears just close it and wait.
