depends where they are from. But the way they keep saying factory sounds like there fake

dreamboxs are german in origin hence the dreamup scenario if you look at where they come from, pt-1 would be able to tell you though if this was a fake or not but good find have looked around their site and it looks good

yup a fake then. Real ones are made in germany

Their Europen center is based in Germany so most people will tell you every thing they make is German made. Most electronic business outsource parts or even full products to there specification form places like Hong-Kong because its much cheaper.

I read some where, that the so called fakes are made in a factory in China that use to make the dream boxes for dream multimedia.

Dream multimedia do not make the DM500 any more.

They are still making the 500. Its the biggest selling one so far.

Only way to check is to look on Dream multimedia website to see if the seller is an official re-seller. If not its most likely fake.
