hi, i have just got a DBOX2 and it is working fine with the commando 4 image, i have it connected to my network fine and can control it with yweb.

I'm after some help recording the stream on my pc, i tryed the live view with Yweb and it just makes my dbox go to a black screen. do i need to set somthing on dbox or something. Hope someone can help.

Yeah I believe you have to use ucode 0014 to get streaming working correctly on all channels via yweb, you may also have to set 'spts' mode to on in misc settings.

now with turning on the spts setting i can record a few channels but most of them just stay on a black screen when spts is on, can anyone help me

Sorry that's my ideas out.

Now streaming the other way from the PC to the dbox I do know how to get it working properly.

Try vlc with the vlcrape addon
saying that most of the frontrow channels dont work when i use this but
slysports and sly movies did and a lot of the others.
EDIT soz thats for live streaming i will have a look at the recording and get back to you m8.

thxs fergal able to stream a few more channels with vlcrape, also able to record a few but not all. :)

try what hunter said m8 in that help file it wioll explain how to record directly yo your pc with out the need of any other software works well for me

give it as go
