I have a a 80 mtr dish on a dis. motor only use it for 28E 19E 13E and occ 30 deg W sats.
Do I have to set the lnb vetical on 0 deg or is it better to set it vert on 19 deg.
I have read somewhere that you set it up vert on 0 Deg and it is ok on all other sats but my way of thinking is as it travels to say 28 deg the lnb is no longer vert but at abt 45 deg angle to the ground and are'nt the sig from the sats Vert and Horz. Can someone put my straight on this.

at 0 m8. set it to thorp 1w and the lnd should be near enough vertical there m8 and yes it starts to go on a angle as it gets further up the 'arc' m8

As the dish travels the arc the LNB will skew, the dish face drops as it travels on the arc, so you need to set it vertical on 0 degrees then the LNB alignement will be correct and it just a case of ensuring your dish travels along the arc correctly which can be a pain if you start travelling along the whole arc
