If you have a firewall on your pc have you configured it to trust the ip address of your Xbox 360.

As I had problems connecting my Xbox 360 my pc. It turn out the problem was that hadn't of configured my ZoneAlarm firewall to trust the ip address of my Xbox 360.

Hope it helps

Make sure the Windows Media sharing services are enabled and running on your PC. Without them your XBOX 360 won't be able to find your PC.

You can check this by going Control Panel -> Administrative Tasks -> Services
