hi my mate as just bought a dbox2 in a ntl cable area but now found out he cant get digital there only analogue signal is there anywhere on the web that you can find out what areas get digital ?

cheers mate just checked it says im on the Langley exchange will the box work on that exchange do you know ?

Strange? are you sure the suplier doesnt provide digital there?
It more likely that he does get a digital feed along with that analog so take a look at the white box on the wall inside the house to see if there is another socket for the cable to go into and try it in that one.

There are some areas that still only carry analogue. If broadband internet is available there then the digital TV stream should also be present.
It might be worth checking the splitters to make sure the frequency band is correct, i think it needs to be 5-1000MHz.

That's a very good point - I had the same problem myself and was going to throw away the box until i realised that it was an incorrect splitter problem. A quick trip to the hardware store sorted that one out :)
