The only dreambox I've used is Hunters 7025, wow wot a box, if you have the spare cash about ?430 notes go for it, seems the best images for these are enigma, not much UK support

generally the 500c is the standard box, loads of UK support for these

you asked 2 questions there lol
whats the best: dream7025
whats the common dm500c

the dm500c is a good price and looking at how many people buy them there obviosly stable (depending on image)

my dream 7025 comes with a HDD controller built in (curently with a 300 gig hdd), duel tuners which are swappable (ie: you can buy the tuners separatly, cable, satalite and terestrial)

i,m curently running the gemini image (english) allowing me to record 2 movies at the same time whilst watching another one, depending on transponders

good luck in which ever one you buy ;)

Looks like it may be the 7025 ,thats a great amount of storage space ,,but it looks like I might have to sell a few dbox,s to pay for this one ,,cheers for you help,,PS,how much for the tuners ,,and how many channels on satalite ,ie is it the same as cable

Tuners about ?50 each. Satallite channels totally different to cable lots more 1000's if you get a 2.2m with motor :roflmao: so it depends on your dish and what you point it at!

Are the tuners on the 7025 better than the 500C? My 500C loses some channels whereas a dbox2 on the same line has no problems.
I am very interested in the 7025 due to the twin tuners and pvr.

Where does one get hold of Hunters 7025?

Ah yes I've seen the ones on ebay but from the posts it seemed like Hunter himself was selling them.

re: dream 7025
no i dont sell dreams or tuners lol:roflmao:

cant remember where i bought mine from now its been so long

the tuners are plug and play, the hard drive dont come installed (cheper to get your own)
and i think if you look on fleebay you should be able to get extra tuners for about 25 quid
:goodluck:
