i have bought this item refurbished.it came boxed and with new bolts/fittings.i noticed before i put me dish on it that it had a bit of play in the arm. i emailed the person i bought from(ebay) and he tells me its normal to have a fair amount of play in it. anyway i have mounted the dish on it and now you can tell there is too much play, enough to through the signal.can the arm be tightnened anyway,or is it better to send it back? cheers

not that i'm aware of m8. i'd send it back as there shouldnt be any play at all. tell the dosey freak of nature that sold u it that if theres play on it it could move a couple of mm's out,and a couple of mm's out here is a million miles out in space;)

cheers m8,i noticed the allen screw on the motor was loose.i started to tighten down and it seems to help a little in the movement in the arm.i dont want to put stress on the motor if theres a reason for this screw. cheers
