Hi Guys,

Do you know how much does it cost to get it chipped?

Cheers

I think you can use disc called swapmagic to get the games to run.

If you post in the ps2 part of the forum some one might help you out.

Chipping the PS2 doesn't destroy it!!!!
The only thing it breaks is the warranty

Are these the chubby or slim PS2s? - Both can be given hard drive access with no modchip. Thus, keeping your warranty intact.

I have a chubby PS2 with a 200GB HDD. In it's prime it had 50+ games installed from all regions too. (Dropping it in Ibiza on a stag do meant it had to be reformatted...)

In my opinion, the chubbies are better as the HDD hides in the expansion port. There are also streaming video issues with the slim ones.
