I can remember when dvd writers were £500 ish I bought 1 lol, I think I may wait till these get down to the current price of a dvd writer now lol,,,

The PS3 is not a BD writer though, but the Pioneer is..
Horses for courses. The PS3 is a reader and games machine, I guess the Pioneer will be used for archiving and backups.

Still, I'm keeping my money in my pocket untill the prices drops to ?20 like the current DVDR drives :-)

Ile wait 4 a price drop.

I remember spending like ?60 4 my first cd writer. (A Long Time Ago)
Now its ?25 4 a dvd writer.

I spent over ?110 in december 2003 for a pioneer dvdrw that was a brown box version and that was cheap.
