Can anybody tell me what amp fuse I require for a 10.5kw shower, I currently have a 30 amp will this do?

amps = watts / volts
be aware that i hope this is not a new DIY installation that you have fitted, as under the p-regs, it must be certified as it is in a designated wet area.

No its just that we are having a new shower enclosure fitted and tiled and wanted to see if we could have a more powerful shower installed of putting the 8.5kw back. But i have been told that i cant as i dont have a thick enough core cable ??? so its back to the 8.5 for now

yep
well it would still need to be certified.
you cannot add,amend or change any installations in a designated wet area.
else your insurance will be nulled & you could face a large fine
just be careful./

4.25 amps per kilowatts, so you would have to use a 60 amp trip switch, with 10mm twin and earth cable,

yes you can use 30 0r 32 thats ok i fit lots but they are 32 it has to be in main fuse box
yer use a 60 amp trip switch, with 10mm twin and earth cable, (BUT MAKE SURE ITS CONNECTED TO A RCD)
m8 60 amp is the raiting for the hole house
