If you have forgot the password then you might not have put a password in try just clicking ok when it asks you for a password if there is none set it will let you on :D .

So if you can log onto windows then just click start then click your name at the top of the start menu then click home, and you should be able to change the details of your account change your login options to welcome screen instead of classic and it wont ask you for a password again.

All conviniently forgetting windows XP installes with two administrator accounts, admin and administrator, bot are admins and you only set the password for one during install the other has no password, quick system break in, this is not so commonly knowna and it also works on customs and exercise PC's so possible your company dont know about it either lol

What you need is winternals or a copy of it, if you have access to the newsgroups then do a search on there, just boot up CD then use locksmith to change the password.
