I just use iTunes.

Yes its slow to start compared to other software (e.g. windows media player, winamp), but its so easy to use...

The one I have used in the past, when I transfered my 500+CD to mp3's, was Audiograbber. Google 'audiograbber' and go for the com-us.net website. It used to be a commercial product, but now they have made enough money from it allow it to be downloaded 100% freeware.

It is probably still the fastest ripper around.

i have to agree with eeipcy, Audiograbber is really good. However, if your pushed for time Windows Media Player will convert audio cds to mp3, just remember to change the default from the wma format to mp3 format in rip option menu.

I think Itunes is the easiest just put it in and it does the rest for you and it is pretty good sound also,,

dont rip that many so media player does the job for me, as potuk states you'll have to change from wma to mp3 in options

sorry forgot to mention that if your ripping with media player then you need to untick the copy protection option
