painting doors is a nightmare as all the paint ends up running i would like to know how you stop runs even with non drip i get runs

use one of these wee roller thingies rather than a brush

you must be applying too much paint......streach the paint out more applying a thinner coat!

yep
apply multiple thin coats.
even a light sanding between [wet n dry] to get that really good finish.

Use a sponge roller and make sure you spread it out well,Then drag a paint brush from bottom to top in one stroke.

little rag roller works for me never get runs with it it spreads the paint evenly

A good quality brush and spread the paint out as much as you can.

dont use a roller crap finish for the best result use a brush
one dip do three equal length strokes down 24inch the way then paint it diagonally to spread the paint and then paint up/down that takes it back with the grain just one dip no runs perfect finish
