Have you changed your downstream frequency to your area.

TW: 331000000
NTL: 402750000
EXCW: 586750000

All I can suggest is to try recovering them with Max or Blackcat to original firm then start over again.

If you are not in an exC&W area you have to check that hybrid mode is enabled on the modem otherwise they will not lock .

The reason why people are having trouble with the conversion is beause some modems have hybrid mode disabled here is what you need to do:
Open OneStepZup (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. SNMP util, then put at OID

1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.19.3.1.20.
( be careful, the last DOT is important to be there !! )

Then if you make a "get" you will receive a "2" ( Hybrid Mode DISABLED )

If you can't receive anything, reboot the modem, and hit "get" several times until it's gotten.

You must then, put a 1 and "set". --> 1 means Hybrid Mode ENABLED.
( the same, if you get somo java.socket error, then reboot the modem and begin again hitting "set" ...until is done.

Then reboot again...and your SB4200E will work like a SB4200 !! (docsis + eurodocsis )

Always listen to Koevoet.

This man is seriously on the ball, I taught him everything he knew, now he knows more than me lol, even took my mod job for a while lol, no seriously he learnt it all by himself, but this guy rocks.....
