I read somewere on the internet that nero 7 adds support for labelflash and was thinking that you might need to get labelflash from somewere else and it would apear in nero when installed. Open nero info tool and it will scan your dvd drive and tell you everything that is supported and there is a check box for labelflash if you can click it then click it and it should work if it dosent you might have to get labelflash from somewere else and it will work in nero.

Try the scroll bar at the bottom of nero startsmart to see if it is hidden, it must be on yours because it dosent even let me put a check in the labelflash box.

A friend used to have a NEC drive but has since swapped it for a LightScribe drive. Here's what he had to say about LabelFlash:

"When you buy one of those NEC drives you're supposed to get a version of Nero (NEC OEM) that has the serial to enable LabelFlash, unfortunately most retailers choose not to include the software with the OEM product. When you upgrade the product to the full Nero product it still works because of the original NEC OEM serial. That's how it worked for me although getting the initial code was a hassle I could have done without."

He has also given me codes which he had used to get it to work. I'm unsure what the site policy is about posting serial codes so I won't do so for now. If you want to try them out then let me know and I'll get them to you.
