Looking to get a dvd recorder with freeview & only need one with 80gb hard drive my question is what does it matter about twin tuner dont understand that bit about them any advice please . ps where can i get a good one from ? many thanks ps is the dvd rom in them a dvd writer as well >?

Twin tubes let you record one while watching another or record two programes at the same time.
You could try Dixons even though its the same company that runs Currys the prices are cheaper
