"my sagem box was freezing all the time, i tried a fan running from a 12 volt battery blowing directly at the tuner board no luck. then i put my finger on the tuner board and the chip at the front was red hot. as it is a vertical chip and flat to the board no heat sink is available i think. so i made my own, got a radiator earth clamp from tlc took the earth flag trimmed the bottom so it just fits the size of the chip bent it at a right angle, then got a plastic clothes peg and gripped it on to the chip. got to be very careful it is not touching anything. anyway left box on for two days now no problem at all. the flag gets warm but that just shows its taking heat away and dispersing it. so i think i have cracked it"
Once again all credit to "Printer" for sharing.
These are some adhesive heatsinks might be safer, again try at your own risk
