Juan Urango v Ricky Hatton

Not to far anyway Sat Jan 20. Juan has the reach advantage and is taller than Hatton. Both fighters unbeaten yet. Easy fight or not?

He has already been lamped by some of the best he was nearly knocked out against Emmon Magee in the 1st round and came back and he beat Kostya Tszyu, Ricky Hatton is a great boxer his only bad point is he cuts far to easy.

No havent seen him fight because he has fought nobodys so far, you dont need to ask who will win because you know that Ricky will knock him out early.

Yeah i think so too. Think he is on first on the bill so might not be to late 10ish. Its live from Vegas and starts in the afternoon. The half two jobs are a right pain. Not missed a RH fight for ages and dont want to start just cos he's in the US now!

A good quote from skysports;

His opponent, Juan Urango, known as the 'Iron Twin' because of his strength, durability and Tyson-like style, has knocked out 13 of his 17 opponents on his way to winning the IBF world title. Much like Hatton, Urnago's technique relies on his relentless approach and knockout power.

It wasnt good to watch but Hatton couldnt fight the way he normally does because of the power of this guy, he won the fight comfortably and was never hurt and thats what all good boxers set out to do.

No barnstormer Hatton did what he had to do, why take a risk when he can out box this guy.
Look at the stats, won by 10 points, thats alot. All three judges scored the fight 119-109 to Hatton.
It was a tough fight to even win!

Urango was a bloody tank in there, and Ricky did what he needed to. Man in those first 4 rounds Ricky blew me away though, his speed has definately improved as well, quality first half of the fight!
