not all waiting for time problems are related to tuners if you have a working service and bouquets file try ftp them into box or chunky says test your ber snr and sig when changing image these sometime alter

if its not the tuner what other things can cause "Waiting For Time" error

if its not the tuner what other things can cause "Waiting For Time" error

The other hardware component that can give you a "waiting for time" error is the SEC chip. On a sagem I think its just underneath where the tuner is supported.

This might sound stupid but try UCODE VORTEX; its only in SOME images as standard but I know it to have fixed alot of sagems stuck on 'waiting for time'. Other than that, its either the SEC chip, an interrupted power line to the tuner somewhere, or a low signal.

how do i do a vortex ucode??

Just a little thing. I'm going to sound like a broken record typing this again but it has helped a few people with their problems.

Flash on a fresh copy of the image you are using.

If your using commando v4 (or any of the commando images)..

Ucode 014a (selected on default)
Spts On (selected on default)
Hardware Sections Off
Select Emu Evocam
Select your area
Save and reboot box
Try channel scan (takes 2 mins and is more reliable than copying over your services file as long as you get all the channels)
If it works copy over your bouquet file.
