I have 3 in the house and they are all Sagems ITD68 top up boxes and i've never had a single problem with any so that keeps my boys happy.

i think any freeview box is good as long as it has a really good EPG (for example 7 day guide) 8-}

hI m8 YOU PAYS YOUR MONEY.... I had a Daewoo and a Humax for the kids and they work!...but performance is the big thing..the Daewoo was slow on the EPG and also had lots of signal breaks as did the other one so I bit the bullet and spent almost £80 on a Sony VTXD800 and it is the bees knees!

The EPG is the best I have seen fast as f... and can be programmed etc. The signal is perfect and no pixelation ever! I can look a week or two in advance on the epg and put in a timer event so it pops up when the prog is due to start all in all I am very happy with it and the picture is perfect!

So if you can afford it go for a pricier one if not then the cheapy will generally work well enough and give you the basics.

look here for reviews which might help!

Apologies if no one saw the funny side of that.

Jokes aside, when I was looking at these I have to say I was VERY impressed with the Sony freeview box. Also as someone mentioned earlier, perhaps go for ones that have a top-up tv slot for future-proofing.
