Nest or Hive thermostat?
Does anyone have a Hive or Nest thermostat?
I know both these work with Alexa and was wondering what was your reason for choosing 1 over the other? And would you recommend it?

Both thermostats work in a similar way to each other and both should work with most boilers made in the last 8 years ....so i would go for the one that you have other stuff with ......If you have the nest smoke alarm or a nest camera, they go for the nest.....same as if you have any think that works with the hive then go for that.
If not then go for the cheapest then add to it from there.

have a look at honeywell evo . With this you can control individual radiators (additional honeywell rad valve required) Allows setting zones etc etc. Its more flexible than hive

Thanks I had never even heard of them before your post, so I'll have a google for that one.
