I feel like at the end of the day..this free antiviruses available are just ways to lure you to get the full-version. They are always this nagging updates of how the full version is currently on sale. Nice moves Avira Hidden Content hahaha

Microsoft security essentials, and whatever comes with W10 (think it might be windows defender) << I did check at the time and was happy with whatever it was, never ask for a payment as they are free and never offer an upgrade for payment.

I use AVG and it seems to work fine, but does keep giving you pop ups to try and get you to upgrade!

I was reading through this Hidden Content because i have been wanting to try out something new myself. I think the most important thing to do is recognise what type of malware you are dealing with in the first place! For example, how you would clean against a Trojan horse is different from how you would get rid of a trapdoor, or the most common of all, Adware.
