    Anyone know whats up?

Channel 171 on Freeview has been broadcasting a 'Test card' saying there are technical difficulties for a few days. Tonight I tried to go to channel and it now says my TV is not compatible with this service??

TelevisionX was sold on 1st April:

171 is now seems to be a data channel/feed. If viewed on a standard TV (no Internet connection) there is a placeholder with freeviewxxx.com listed as the URL to get a code. Even if this site did work (not currently hosted) you will not be able to use the code on a TV without Internet connection.

If viewed on a connected TV it offers tvxnow.com as the site to get a code which was registered just two days ago. They now have proper age verification (4 methods) and it's ?15.99 per month. It now requires entering a user ID and separate activation code.

I don’t know if the actual encryption/protection has been changed, but the first thing I would do if I bought the company would be to change the system. Although, complicating the registration and making it web only is a bold move… I would have thought these channels target customers that can’t use the web?
