    Virgin media vivid

I logged into virgin media this morning and saw a message about upgrading to 150mbit. I selected existing customer and i got the option to 'order now' I've done a search and found that there should be no cost except a 1 off delivery charge for the new modem(?5.99). So i will be going from 100meg to 150meg before the end of feb. I should get a proper ordering statement via email in the nexy 48 hours so if the price changes and its not just the deleivery cost then i will report back. An engineer does have to fit this!

This is alledgedly a 're-tier' meaning that if you are say ,like me, on 100mb xl then the xl package is changing to 150meg xl. if your already on 150xxl then you get bumped up to the 200xxl with a new shiny docis 3 modem.

Seems you have to opt in for this 're-teir'.

Check it out for yourselves on the virgin site, remember to select exisitng customer when the option presents itself.

    Cheers

I'm the same,I got upgraded to 200mb(actually get 212mb on speedtest).I had a superhub but needed superhub 2 so all you pay is the delivery cost as if I remember right it came via Hermes.

It looks like your modem is already capable of handling your speed.
