Raspberry Pi Zero costs just ?4!
The Raspberry Pi has just got even cheaper, if you can believe it. The latest model, the Raspberry Pi Zero, costs just ?4! For a fully working computer! That's madness!
The Zero is slower than the Raspberry Pi 2, though it is quicker than the original Pi. It's about the size of a pack of chewing gum, but packs some pretty impressive innards. There's a BCM2835 chip ? the same as in the original Pi but clocked to 1GHz ? 512MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, mini-HDMI port, a microUSB port for data and one for power, plus an unpopulated 40-pin GPIO connector.
Subscribers to MagPi magazine will even see a free Pi Zero stuck to the front. Which is possibly the best free gift ever.
Of course you'll need a keyboard, mouse and monitor if you want to use it as a fully functioning PC. But for ?4, it's really hard to find fault with the Zero. The best mini computer around just got better. A sure-fire stocking filler for Christmas.

My bro got a raspberry Pi for a birthday last year. I don't know what he's done with it yet but I love the idea of a bare bones computer that is as cheap as this.
