The Amazon Fire TV Stick is coming to the UK! The USB stick-sized device plugs into your telly and streams films, music and TV shows from the internet, so you can enjoy them on your 55-inch monster screen. It will arrive on 15 April, but if you get in this week, there's a hefty discount to be had.

If you take out a subscription to Amazon Prime ? that's ?79 a year ? the Fire TV Stick costs just ?7, if you buy before 9am Thursday morning. That's a fifth of its usual ?35 price tag. For those with Amazon Prime, it costs ?19, which is still a decent saving.

If you buy it without Amazon Prime, your options will be a bit limited. It will still stream BBC iPlayer and Netflix, but you'll miss out on all Amazon's goodies. As well as homegrown series like Bosch and Transparent, Prime Instant Video has a host of movies to stream.
