I think wearables will become a thing. It will just take time for people to see the benefits. I'm not an apple fan but the new watch they are bringing out has some pretty decent features. Once developers start getting behind wearables as well, the possibilities are endless.

I dont think ive ever seen anyone with a galaxy gear, which was the first real wave in this market... but i have a feeling it will all change now with the iwatch release. people seem to find apple way more fashionable and i think it wont be seen as "nerdy" (for want of a better word) as the less fashionable android iteration.

at first i thought the ipad (and whole tablet market) was stupid and pointless, then i ended up getting one as a massive help with note taking in lectures. i feel like the smar****ches will fill similar niches.

The Current crop of Smar****ches doesn't have enough draw for me to actually spend any money, but its not an entirely pointless concept.

there was a scare piece in one of the tabloids during the week, warning that using the new apple watch while driving will carry the same penalties as using a mobile. I would think it would be harder to drive and fiddle with the tiny watch than use a phone though.

until the batterys last for a few days I cant see them taking off. Who wants a watch you have to charge once a day or more. Electrowetting screens might change that they ever come to market
