By Jenna Pitcher Xbox One's latest system update is now rolling out to all consoles, according to an announcement on Major Nelson, introducing a host of new social and entertainment features.

The update introduces an overhauled activity feed with a single column interface ?that is longer and includes more content.? Users will have the ability to post text to their feed as well as the option to ?like? and comment on feed items. Notifications can be enabled if anyone likes, comments or shares a user?s feed item. Players can also share game clips ?and anything else in the feed? via the activity feed or as an attachment with a private message.

?Each user will get a personal feed on their profile, so you can see what specific friends have been up to," the post reads. "And, with SmartGlass, you can see what your friends have shared to their activity feed and 'like' specific posts (additional activity feed support coming in future SmartGlass updates).?

Users can now make mobile purchases using Xbox SmartGlass or on Xbox.com, allowing them to remotely purchase games and add-on content. The console will begin downloading the purchase if the option to automatically take updates is enabled.

Other new features include the ability to play 3D Blu-ray movies on the Xbox One with a Blu-ray player app update and the friends list now displays how long it?s been since a friend has been online. A low battery notification will now pop up when a controller?s battery gets low and users can now disable notifications during video.
