Extract which TP_PROG.rar file you prefer with a program such as winrar & place the TP_PROG.DBS file onto the root of your USB drive.
In the Openbox menu delete your current channel list by going to the "Edit Channel" tab & selecting "Delete All".
Staying in the menu navigate to the "Tools" tab then "Upgrade by USB", change the upgrade mode from "Image File" to "Misc Files" then "Select & Upgrade" & select "TP_PROG.DBS" then press yellow, if all done correctly it should begin to upgrade,
If it renames some of the bouquets to fav1, fav2 etc just rename them locally with the remote they will be remembered locally when you update the channel list.

thanks ilovenzb it worked but still doesnt go in to separate favorite sections so you can rename them eg entertainment, sport, music etc you could do this quite easy on the old openbox s9 considering the openbox x5 is the latest box this is definitely a backwards step and i wish i hadn't of brought this box and consider something different also thanks fergalworlds

try this
Channel List Upload
1- Press Menu/ Edit Channel / Load DB , Again you see the USB stick ( udska0 or whatever ) press Ok
all files/Folders will show chose your bin File ( UK_CHannel_Fav.bin ) and press Ok then wait until its finished and will reboot, DONE....
see you have some channel working now at least BBC1/BBC News/Channel4 ,Etc. if you have Favorite try them now.. ( press Ok for channel list then Green for FAV ) and chose any Fav1 or Fav2 then select the channels and have fun....
If these Free to air channel is working then it must be signal error ( check your dish or cable connected properly to the box ( LNB Input ).
