    Sky + to PC

    Hello im new here.

Just wanted to know if there was any way of downloading FOA contact from my sky+ HDD to my computer?

I saved a few programs on ITV 4 and would like to keep them on my PC.

Can i take the HDD out and just drag and drop the programs?

    Thanks

You can remove the HDD from a Sky+/HD box and connect to a PC using a SATA connection (internal or via external USB adapter). You need software to copy the data properly though as it's in a modified FAT32 format. I used ExPVR (official site is w*w.ph-mb.com) which worked fine in Windows 7 64-bit and allowed me to backup all recordings and restore to a bigger HDD which I then re-fitted to the Sky+HD box. All recordings were still playable on the Sky+HD box but only free-to-air playable on the PC due to encryption of the other channels which I don't have time/need to try crack and just play back on the Sky box.
