ps3 hdd upgrade
Im thinking of putting a bigger hdd in my ps3 but am wondering if there is a limit to what size hdd you can put in it?

there is no set limit to what drive you can use, go for a 1TB drive and if you need more use a HDD docking station to add additional external hard drives.

if your thinking of hacking the ps3 have a look at the compatibility list as you will find some games only work on an external drive anyway.
if its a slim ps3 version allow the ps3 to encrypt and format the new drive and get it fully working before you even think about altering the original drive as if you run into a problem you will need the original drive as the ps3 pairs the drive to the ps3.
once the new drive is working you can format the old drive
