    Wireless Internet keeps dropping

Hi all,I have just setup my router with a tenda w150 wireless bridge. I have good connection to my sat box,but for some reason my laptop wireless keeps dropping and only getting local with no Internet. Only way to get back on the net with laptop is to turn the tenda power off and back on as this usually does the trick.?

question. I take it the sat box is a wired connection? Does any other wireless devices have drop outs?

It might be the case that the wi-fi channel in use has interference with other devices within your household or your neighbors'. If you have a smart phone then you can download the WI-FI Analyzer app which will scan all available channels and recommend good channels to use. Then you can log into your router through its web page and modify the wi-fi channel in use (this option is different for different routers, so check the manual if you cant find it)

    Re: Wireless Internet keeps dropping

Hi, 1=The sat box is wired yes from the wifi bridge.
2= No only the laptop, notice it happens if i restart the sat box most of the time, then loose laptop wireless connection,so switch off wifi bridge and back on and the laptop will connect again.

Nawafi, will i need to change the channel on router and wifi bridge if there causing interference,or just one of them, cheers
