    Freeview HD on DVB-T2

Just got the PCTV 290e HD stick today. It scanned for over 2 hrs on quick, normal and best qualities. All it found were some BBC channels, no ITV nor HD.

Is anyone else having problems with this?

what program are you using to scan and view channels my i suggest using windows media centre also what aerial do you have attached to the stick?

you have all drivers installed dont you

click start -right click (my computer)-left click manage-under (computer management)on the left hand side-left click-device manager(then look for and yellow ! if so you may not have the driver installed it should be under usb controllers.

The most common problem with all of these pctv receivers is the rubbish stick aerials supplied with them!
Plug it into a roof aerial, or a decent boosted indoor aerial and scan again, hopefully you will get much better results.
To be honest a bit of wire and a metal coat hanger are better than most supplied aerials!
Let us know how you get on ugitur.

Cool Re: Freeview HD on DVB-T2

whats the point in even messing with those daft things anyways when you can get something like this >> Hidden Content

or even pay a few quid more and get something even better Hidden Content , ok they may still be crap, but they certainly wont be anymore/less crap than one of those sticks, Hidden Content , I doubt it very much, unless ofcourse for some strange reason that you have not mentioned you are forced into that only option, thats different then mate.

ugitur, how much did that cost you anyway ?

I think some people want them to watch or record on a pc or laptop m8?
They may even work on a tablet for all I know, so they are fully portable for use when traveling etc.
