ViewSonic is reported to launch a new cheap Android 4.0 tablet this year. According to the company?s statement during MWC 2012, the new ViewPad E70 will be sold for ?130 only. ViewSonic also noted that it should be available for purchase in Spring.
Spec wise, ViewPad E70 sports 7.0 inch capacitive touch screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution, which is quite low, even for today?s standard. Aside from the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, this tablet will also carry on company?s own ViewScene 3D interface. Sadly, there?s no open access to Android Market, so users must navigate around alternative web page like 1Mobile to get their android apps.
ViewPad E70 is only support for WiFi Internet connection, but this tablet posses lot of useful ports, including mini HDMI, mini USB, micro USB and microSD card slot. It also carry on 4GB of internal memory and 512MB RAM. Bluetooth connectivity is also available. Anyone who want to perform video call can take advantage from it?s 1.3 megapixels web camera. This tablet doesn?t has any rear shutter though.
