    need an sd card

    My daughter has just brought an hd camcorder and it takes either an sd,sdhc or and sdxc card.What i would like to know is other than the speed what if any is the differance and would she see a differance between say an sd and a sdhc card?the sdxc cards in the size she is looking at are expensive, a 8gb sd card will give her aprox 1 hour recording,thanks for looking
