    pDVR

    I have had the offer of several of these boxes they record onto SD/MMC
    see photos if anyone knows anything about it would be good thanks for looking.

    I've never seen one of those before.
    The one thing that strikes me from your pictures though is the setup. It only connects by the composite svhs type leads, so I would expect the sound and video quality produced to be pretty low by todays standards?
    They might be useful with a 7" screen portable dvd player though. When travelling you could put the unit in your pocket and it would be less bulky than carrying disks?
    You could get a few avi's on an 8 or 16gb sd card!
    But then can't you do that with some of the sat Navs as well, which would be even more portable?

    Yes the record resolutiuons are low m8 but i would think they are usefull for recording from your own security camera's onto a SD Card only takes upto 2 gig though.Recording @30fps mp4 you get about 7 hrs recording or in 3GP .
