There are some games that have been ported to the MAC. Others where available from launch (I belive Quake Wars: Enemy Territory is one example)
But there aren't a great deal available.
Most people stick to PCs for gaming, however those that go MAC have bootcamp or WINE as solutions.

Most game publishers produce mainly for the PC
The games themselves where add-ons and new maps course's and such like
always are made for a windows based Operating system
The main reason for Mac's Boot camp is that people can use mac for work and PC for plesure
The top graphics and games are PC Based
The biggest arguement is PS3 Or PC??????????????????
At the moment the PS3, but thats because of where it is in its life cycle.
GTA4 is coming to the PC in Nov and that was the only game on the PS3/360 I wanted...
Still with nvidia's 280 and ATI's 4870x2 range the dev's should start coming back/porting in the next year.
in my opinion any console will be better for gamers plus you do not have to worry about new hardware every 6 months....
Imo it depends on the game. I played all the Battlefield series & call of duty series in multiplayer mode online. I much prefer playing these sorts of FPS games with a keyboard & mouse, but hey just my preference. Games like car/bike racing etc.. I prefer on a console.
