    Strange Firefox/Opera problem

A bit of a bizzarre problem... I've got Opera, IE7 and Firefox 2.0.0.14 installed on my PC as well as Safari and Firefox on my Mac. So far so good.

I'm able to login to WOD from my Mac using Safari & Firefox... no problems there either.

I can login to WOD using IE7 from my PC... all fine.

However... I can't login to WOD using Firefox or Opera on my PC !! I've checked all the options and am at my wit's end as to what the hell's leading Firefox/Opera to not save WOD's login cookie.

Any clues? Many thanks in advance...
    Best regards,

    Re: Strange Firefox/Opera problem

I had the same problem pande. In fact its only in the last 5 minutes I've managed to sort it!

As an experiment I deleted the sessionstore.js file.

    To do the same
    • In XP: Start > Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab > Show hidden files and folders. Open My Computer > C:\ > Documents and Settings > [User name] > Application Data > Mozilla > Firefox > Profiles > seemingly-random-alphanumeric-string.default > sessionstore.js - just change its name or location for now.
    • In Vista: Start > Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab > Show hidden files and folders. Open Computer > C:\ > Users > [User name] > AppData > Roaming > Mozilla > Firefox > Profiles > seemingly-random-alphanumeric-string.default > sessionstore.js - again do some sort of back up before deleting.

NB This will log you out of all your sites.

If that doesn't work you could also try renaming the 'cookies' file in the same folder to see if it fixes it.

No probs guys, its been bugging me for months.

Got to the point where I was resigned to it just being me with this problem. Glad to finally have it sorted.
