    A switch on sagem

    hi
    just got a sagem dbox from germany and on the back has a small switch, e-mail seller whom answered
    (The switch is to cancel the secure for eeproms. Down is secure on and top it is secure of and the flash is describable.)
    not sure what this all means box seems to work ok
    any ideas

    Never heard of it mate
    Stay well clear of it
    Sounds like it may be some kind of Panic button to eras the flash
    But i dont speak German
    So thats a stab in the Dark ..................Paul

    hunter i have never seen this before either
    on image 009 the red and black wire are each side of the flash chip
    I have flashed lincsat5 seems ok

    Its to disable write protection but this only needs to be done once to get it into debug mode which it already is.

    Never seen a switch yet
    Not sayin there aint one
